In 1991, Lucia settled her family down in Texas and remarried in 1997. Lucia began a career she gained much enjoyment from in the Military Deli Bakery Services (MDBS). She quickly moved up to management and spent many happy years with the company. During this time, she was blessed with her first grandson in 1997, Pharaoh Christian Agostini. She was further blessed with Elijah Christopher Smith in 1998, Gabriella Nicole Agostini in 2000, Stephan Isiah Agostini Jr. in 2001, Isaiah Matthew Smith in 2002, and Mason Reid Agostini in 2010.
